The mixture of photography and paint has created such a captivating attraction in this hyperrealism series. Flora Borsi, the Budapest-based artist, used the model holding a piece of painted glass to emphasise the painting-like effects.

“I mixed photographic elements with painting techniques. A hyperrealist painter aims to achieve a result which looks like a real photographic picture. A pictorialist photographer’s desired result is visually equivalent to a painting.”
